Take the tour of the Vatican Museums and Sistine chapel and jump the queue! Your guide will lead you into the museums where you will visit one of the most important art collection of the world. Admire the beautiful spiral stairway, the gallery of tapestries and geographical maps, before arriving at the famous Sistine Chapel and the unforgettable Basilica! After lunch, we will continue our visit to the Archeological area. Let's admire the splendid arch of Constantine, climb the Palatine hill and stomp on the legendary via Sacra. After breakfast, take your train to Pisa. Reach your hotel. and enjoy this beautiful town. Overnight stay in Pisa's hotel.
One of the best known and most studied cities in the World. You will start with a walk along the Medieval walls up to the entrance gate: Porta Santa Maria. From here a unique panorama across Piazza Dei Miracoli with its wonderful marble architecture. If the queue allows it, your guide will accompany you to visit the precious interiors of the Cathedral with its amazing acoustics, outside view of Baptistery. Once out of the monument, you will admire the iconic Leaning Tower, and learn the secrets that made it so famous, and the Monumental Graveyard, where it will be possible to admire a number of paintings, sculptures, and monuments of several famous Pisan personalities. Before heading back to Florence you will have free time for an ice-cream or to take more memorable photos.
After having healthy breakfast, leave for Florence, arrive Florence and check-in hotel.
Live the city on your own... hop on and off your City Sightseeing bus! You have three routes available to join the city at your pleasure! Florence is an art and culture lover's paradise. However this charming Tuscan city offers so much more. You can pass an entire holiday in Florence without entering a museum and still go home fulfilled. The core or terracotta hue that the streets and rooves take when seen from the various panoramic view points above the city in the morning or evening light are unique. From our open-top buses, you will be a privileged observer of the narrow cobbled viuzze, tiny medieval streets, the enchanting artisan shops and the elegant boutiques and trendy individual shops. Our new bus route will bring you to Fiesole the Etruscan hill town just a few kilometers out of Florence which no trip to the city would be complete without visiting. As well as the stunning panoramic views over the Tuscan countryside the opportunity for cultural visits is well worth the trip. The Roman amphitheater, the Cathedral, the Civic Museum, to name just a few and of course the splendid paths and trails which lend themselves so well for trekking or strolling. This is an ideal itinerary for relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the city. Sit back and let your driver slowly take you along the winding country roads. Sunset is especially magical and quite romantic
The Tour will depart Florence and will arrive high above the Cinque Terre village of Manarola, where you will enter the National Park to hike to Corniglia. At the cliff top village of Corniglia, after the panoramic walk you have free time to relax and take-in the perfect view of the sea and surrounding hillside. After Corniglia, we continue our tour towards the village of Vernazza, one of the prettiest and most characteristic of the towns. Here we have free time to sit in one of the cheerful bars and cafes, or even have a cooling swim in the sea. Continue the visit with a short train ride to Monterosso, the village renowned for its beautiful beach and artisan shops. Enjoy free time to taste the local wine, a refreshing swim in the sea or souvenir shopping. A boat ride (weather permitting) along the coast will take you to Riomaggiore, where the tour ends. You will return to Florence by coach around 8:30 pm. These ancient trails are rough but manageable. Remember that the ground can be slippery, uneven and in places steep and narrow. The charm of the area is that it is natural and unspoiled, don't expect hand rails or safety rails for steep steps or paths close to the edge. The Cinque Terre Trek is reccommended for active people who enjoy hiking and trail walking
