Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Day start with the city tour - which commences with a tour of Table Mountain (weather permitting; cable car fee not included). Enjoy panoramic views over the Mother City and the Atlantic Seaboard with Robben Island in the distance lying sleepily in Table Bay harbour. In the city itself, stop at the Company Gardens. Enjoy a walk through the garden and a visit to the South African Museum. This is followed by a visit to the Castle of Good Hope. Built between 1666 and 1679 by the Dutch East India Company (VOC) as a maritime replenishment station, the Castle of Good Hope is the oldest surviving colonial building in South Africa. The drive through the city centre would also take you past the Houses of Parliament, the Grand Parade and City Hall from where Nelson Mandela first addressed South Africans after his release in February 1990. Post Breakfast, proceed for The highlights of this private full day excursion are visits to the Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulders Beach Penguin Colony and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The Tour will take you to Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard via Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay, stopping at a Llandudno look out point before continuing to Hout Bay, a quaint village and fishing harbour with magnificent mountain views and beach. Continue to Chapman's Peak, via one of the world's most breathtaking coastal drives to Cape Point, which is perceived to be the meeting point of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Enjoy a light lunch at a nearby restaurant (not included in cost). Continue to Simon's Town, a charming village with Victorian architecture, a naval base and a large penguin colony at the beautiful Boulders Beach. Before returning to your hotel you will visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Breakfast at the hotel and check out. Transfer to Knysna by road. On arrival in Knysna, proceed to check in at their hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

In the afternoon, Discover the colour, energy, and history of vibrant Soweto on this cycle tour which starts from Lebo's Soweto Backpackers. Cycle to the look-out point that takes in Orlando West and East, as well as the surrounding townships including the home of the famous soccer team Orlando Pirates. Continue to Mzimhlophe Men's Hostel , a former migrant workers' hostel and learn how men from around the country moved to Johannesburg to work in the gold mines and the conditions they lived in, as well as how this area has now transformed to become a Soweto community today. Travel to the Hector Pieterson memorial site which commemorates the uprising on the 16 June 1976 when hundreds of children and youths lost their lives while protesting the Apartheid Education System. From there we continue on to Vilakazi Street to have a look at Nelson Mandela's former home and the home of Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu, to learn more about these icons' contributions to a free and democratic South Africa. Return to Lebo's Soweto Backpackers where you can take in more of Soweto the community and its people. Includes: Local English speaking guide, entrance fees and transportation as indicated.
